Heading out soon for a day trip to a quaint town by the water to enjoy the last days of summer. Starting with a picnic and ending with a visit to the ice cream shop 😋

Had a great conversation with my parents the other night. I got in touch with my roots as we talked about our surname generation poem. In spite of his advanced age my dad still remembered portions of the poem he learned as a young boy!

So excited this morning! After being mainly sequestered due to COVID, planning to get out of the house later and take a road trip to enjoy a blueberry festival. Blueberry sugar cakes and milkshakes here I come!
